Podcasts … We like to listen to them, but we love to create them as well!

The power of the voice is – according to Helene’s experience and opinion – something magical, which offers the perfect alternative to screens (and their blue light). No images, just a focus on the power of words and the tone and type of voice. But above all, an endless amount of different subjects.

Today, we offer you a freeze-frame on Hélène’s podcasting adventure. She has created – with the help of the team – two series of podcasts. Each with a different theme, objective and target group.

Absolute Agency’s DNA has always been driven by creativity and the desire to create communication projects that are thought out for the client and not self-centred on the brand. As a result, entrepreneurs have always been a source of great admiration for Helene, as they usually start from a need or a lack of market demand to create a project from scratch and get their community and clients to buy into it. It is this creative entrepreneurial process that Helene wanted to study more closely to better understand how small or large successes are born.

The CHANGE podcast was born at the very beginning of the COVID crisis in March 2020. Hélène had the idea to go and meet entrepreneurs to discuss with them their career paths. It all happened quite naturally. She had the chance to prove herself with clients of the agency who kindly accepted her invitation. Thank you Anne-Sophie and Jonathan! She then got into the swing of things by contacting people she didn’t know. The people she contacted almost all accepted her invitation, sometimes even in the form of a psychoanalysis session! (Hello, Gilles Bazelaire!)

The result? 32 episodes of about 1 hour each, during which Hélène and her guest analyse and give advice for people who want to start their own business or who are already doing so.

INSIDE COMM’ is the agency’s podcast aiming to put the spotlight on the team’s knowledge of and experience in the world of internal communication. Internal communication has been a speciality of the agency since its beginnings. It is a subject that is close to our hearts because it takes care of the human being within the corporate machine. In mid-2020, it seemed normal to us to create a podcast about this profession, so much in demand during the crisis. The result to date is a series of twenty episodes, mixing short (5-minute) episodes in which specific themes are addressed (for example: 5 teambuilding ideas to be done remotely or 4 ideas for successful remote onboarding) and twenty-minute episodes in which Hélène invites a guest from the world of internal communication. This gave us the chance to go behind the scenes of the internal communication departments of large companies such as bpost, Elia or PartenaMut (thanks to Sybille, Aurélie and Johanne) by highlighting internal projects and dissecting them so that they are useful and instructive for the listeners.

In 2021, the ambition for Absolute is to continue our podcast momentum. Of course, we don’t intend to stop there: we are already discussing podcast with some of our customers useful to their industry or brand. We’ll be back soon with some fresh news so stay stuned!
