Contrary to popular belief, inspiration never appears out of thin air, like some kind of godsend vision. Inspiration is more a build-up of experiences and impressions that a creative collects while browsing online, reading books, watching movies, going to expositions, walking around, etc…  Every creative is a product of its environment, defined by the influences around him.

That’s why we love to sit down with our designers to talk about their creative heroes to better understand their work. For this article, we asked Jean and Pablo to list some of their biggest sources of inspiration. From digital wizards to logo masterminds, we present to you some creative giants. Get inspired!

His client’s portfolio boasts names such as Red Bull, Google, NASA, BMW, Sony, and many, many more. On top of that, he’s the co-founder of Semplice, a CMS that allows creatives to easily create their portfolio. In short, he’s a creative giant who doesn’t shy away from offering his talents at the service of the design world.

Sagi Haviv is Pablo’s favourite logo designer, a true guru in his domain with a unique vision on brand design and typography. His agency, Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv, has created some of the world’s most celebrated and recognizable logos. You know, the yellow rectangular frame? Exactly, that kind of logo. The agency only does logo & brand design, but they have become the absolute best in it.
